The Canaan Cluster is an area densely packed with stars, incorporating many different solar systems into one large globular mass. There are two planets in this system that may be considered habitable for most oxygen breathing races, named Deemi and Horst.

In one of the greatest tragedies in the last fifty millenia, the leaseholding race nearly destroyed the stability of the entire biosphere on both planets in one of the worst ecological holocausts in recent race-memory. Both have been on the edge of ruin ever since, and for thousands of years were under close watch by many ecological organizations. For the last few thousand, however, the Canaan Cluster has been nearly given up for a lost cause, and many have given up all hope for reparing the biosphere. Deemi and Horst have become nearly forgotten planets.

The Canaan Cluster is currently a legal leasehold for Earthclan, who have taken over custodianship of the ecological repair efforts there. Earthclan is under a critical eye for its rehabilitation efforts with these planets and others in similar situations.
