Solarians .Magnetovore.

Perhaps the only species of their life-type, the Solarians of Sol are quite the mystery for scholars and historians alike. Discovered a mere 200 years ago, what is even more shocking for the more conservative clans than the fact that they have gone unnoticed for so long is the fact that these unique beings were first discovered by the Wolfling Humans instead of one of the large and well-known patron-lines.

Due to their stellar habitat, the Solarians are made up of almost entirely plasma, with little to no physical body. This form puts oxygen breathers at a cosiderable disadvantage when trying to communicate with them. It has proven harder, in fact, to communicate with these beings than with the equally bizarre and inscrutable Hydrogen Breathers. From what little preliminary contact the Five Galaxies have had, it has been deduced that the Solarians are quite sentient. How they became sentient (or even capable of any sort of life) in the harsh chromosphere of Sol is unknown, but their race-memory is believed to be incredibly long, and claim to remember earlier dives into the chromospheres of suns by long-extinct races. They claim these memories to be over one billion years old, old enough to make the race in question possibly the Progenitors. Whether this means that the Sol system has before been inhabited, or if the Solarians can somehow migrate is unknown, as most recent attempts to establish contact with them have failed.
