Much like Deemi and Horst in the Canaan Cluster, the sole habitable planet in the Gimelhai system, Garth, was the victim of an ecological holocaust ten thousand years ago. The carnivorous Bururalli killed off every large terrestrial animal on the planet in less than one hundred years. Since that time, Earthclan has taken over the task of rebuilding the crushed environment, along with experts from across the Five Galaxies.

All Earthclan species except Neo-Dolphins live on Garth. It was briefly occupied by Gubru forces in the initial surge of anti-Terranism in the hectic months after the Streaker find. During its occupation, the ecological restoration efforts were severely set back as the entire Human population became prisoners of war. The Gubru have since been charged with ecological mismanagement and been forced to help repair Garth.
