Izminuti/Jijo

The Izminuti system contains the massive and irregular star Izminuti and an average-sized yellow sun. Orbiting the smaller sun is the habitable planet Jijo along with its moons.

Izminuti itself is an oddity. The huge red giant has encountered increased solar activity in the last half million years since the Buyur vacated the system. This activity has been in the form of thick streams of carbon emissions from the outer chronosphere. These emissions have hampered any sort of inquiry into the rumors of multiple sooner colonies on the planet Jijo.

The Izminuti system along with all of Galaxy Four has been recently ceeded to the Zang faction of Hydrogen Breathers for an indefinate period of time. They are thought to have a sizable base in-system, but their lack of hospitality shown for large groups of Oxygen Breathers has discouraged any investigations there.

Jijo is a fairly average planet by any normal standards. The biosphere is diverse and extremely healthy, it is quite active seismically, and has small reserves of psi-active minerals in the middle crust. The geological activity has proved to be one of the greatest factors in the erasure of all traces of Buyur habitation, as dictated by Galactic Law. The mulcing process almost complete. However, this will not have any bearing on future habition, due to the current owners of Galaxy Four.

In the last two thousand years, there have been rumours of not one but perhaps up to ten sooner races on the planet Jijo's surface. These include rumors of Urs, Hoon, Qheuen, Human, Glavers, and perhaps rogue Traeki (Jophur variants), Tytlal, Dolphins, extinct g'Kek, and the Kiqui collected by the crew of the Streaker on Kithrup.

The Jophur dreadnought Polkjhy claimed to have followed the Streaker to this locale, but no contact has been established with this vessel since its sudden expedition into restricted territory.
